01Where your data lives

All your billing and accounting records are stored directly on your own computer. The data is saved in a SQLite file in your Documents/BillSetu folder.

Automatic backups are created locally in your Documents/BillSetu Backups folder.

02No central servers or tracking

Saransh Designs does not run any central account server, customer database, cloud backup service, or tracking system.

We never receive, view, or store your invoices, customer names, stock records, or financial accounts.

• No telemetry or analytics
• No advertising trackers
• No remote database storage

03When the app connects to the internet

BillSetu contacts the internet for only two specific purposes.

• Checking for software updates by fetching a signed manifest file without sending any personal data
• Syncing data with your own Google Drive account if, and only if, you choose to enable Google sign-in

04Google sign-in and Drive access

Signing in with Google is entirely optional. BillSetu works fully offline without it.

If you enable Google sign-in, the app requests only one scope: https://www.googleapis.com/auth/drive.appdata. This scope is classified by Google as non-sensitive. It gives access only to a single hidden application folder created for BillSetu inside your personal Google Drive.

BillSetu cannot view, list, read, or modify any of your other Google Drive files, photos, Gmail messages, contacts, or documents.

05What is stored in Google Drive

The hidden application folder in your Google Drive holds only your own shop billing data and your software licence file. This allows your mobile device to load the same books as your desktop computer.

The sign-in process uses OAuth with PKCE. Authentication tokens stay directly on your local device. Saransh Designs never receives your tokens and holds no client secret on any server.

06Google API Limited Use disclosure

BillSetu's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Google user data is used solely to provide the sync feature requested by you. It is never sold, never transferred to third parties, never used for advertising, never used to train artificial intelligence or machine-learning models, and no human at Saransh Designs reads it.

07Licence activation and hardware code

When you activate BillSetu, the app displays a five-group installation code. This code is bound to your machine.

The raw machine fingerprint stays on your computer. Licence files are signed offline by us using a private key that is not hosted on any web server.

08Revoking access and deleting data

You can disconnect Google Drive at any time inside the BillSetu settings.

You can revoke access completely by visiting https://myaccount.google.com/permissions in your web browser.

To delete your cloud data, open your Google Drive settings, go to Manage apps, and delete the BillSetu hidden app data folder. To delete local data, delete the Documents/BillSetu and Documents/BillSetu Backups folders on your computer.

09Children's privacy

BillSetu is business software designed for commercial trade and is not directed at children under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

10Changes to this policy

If we update this Privacy Policy, the revised version will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Because we do not collect your contact details, we encourage you to review this page periodically.
