01Licence grant

When you purchase BillSetu, Saransh Designs grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the software for your shop billing and accounting.

Each licence is bound to your specific installation code. You may not copy, sub-license, rent, lease, reverse engineer, or resell the software to others.

02Price and what is included

BillSetu is available for a one-time price of Rs 2,999. This payment includes the Windows desktop software and mobile phone billing capability.

03Annual maintenance and support

Annual Maintenance Contract (AMC) is completely optional and costs about Rs 600 per year. Standard technical support without AMC is available at about Rs 300 per incident.

Your software will continue to function forever regardless of whether you purchase or renew an AMC.

04Software updates

Updates for statutory GST tax rates and official invoice formats are provided free of charge to all licenced users.

05Invoice numbering and cancellations

To comply with GST rules requiring gap-free invoice series, finalised invoices cannot be deleted from the database. An invoice can only be marked as cancelled.

06Your responsibility for filings and backups

You are solely responsible for ensuring the accuracy of your invoices, accounts, tax calculations, and GSTR return filings.

Because your database resides entirely on your own device, you are solely responsible for maintaining regular backups of your Documents/BillSetu folder.

07Disclaimer of warranty

BillSetu is provided on an as-is basis. Saransh Designs does not guarantee that the software will be completely error-free or run without interruption.

You are responsible for verifying all figures and ensuring compliance with applicable tax laws.

08Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Saransh Designs shall not be liable for any lost profits, lost data, business interruption, or indirect damages.

Our total financial liability to you for any claim arising from your use of the software shall not exceed the actual amount paid by you for the BillSetu licence.

09Termination

We may terminate your licence if you violate these terms, including attempting to crack, reverse engineer, or illegally redistribute the software. Upon termination, you must stop using the software.

10Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from or relating to these terms or your use of BillSetu shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of India.

11Changes to terms

Saransh Designs reserves the right to modify these terms. Updated terms will be posted on the BillSetu website. Continued use of the software constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
