Optional sync with your Google account
Signing in with Google is completely optional. BillSetu works offline without it. When enabled, it only touches one hidden app folder in your Google Drive to sync with your phone, and it cannot see your emails, photos, or other files.

Common questions
Where is my data stored?
Your data is saved on your computer in Documents/BillSetu. If you sign in with Google, it also syncs to a private hidden folder in your own Google Drive.
What happens when a yearly licence ends?
The software becomes read-only. You can still open, search, print, and export all past bills, but you cannot make new ones until you renew.
Does my subscription renew automatically?
No. We store no credit card details and run no account server. A licence is a file that simply stops accepting new bills after 365 days.
Can I bill from my phone without my PC on?
Yes. Install the Android app and sign in with the same Google account. It reads and writes to your private Google Drive folder directly.
Do I have to pay an annual maintenance fee?
No. There is no AMC. Future GST rate and invoice format updates are free for all licence holders.
